Horticulturist, fiber artist, and protector of the environment.
Horticulture is inspiring. I gain artistic inspiration through colors and textures in nature for my rugs and vise versa.
Gardening comes so naturally to me and it feels good to share and to help educate and inspire others to step out and grow things!
Gardening keeps me grounded. Sometimes I feel like I’m half plant!
I started off majoring in art, and quickly realized that wasn’t for me and decided after graduation that I would join the Peace Corps, which led me to switch majors to Agriculture. I met with an advisor, and took my first “Intro to Plant Science” and I was hooked! It is so instinctual for me and it feels so rewarding to share my passion with others.
